More interest and action is needed by police against illegal hunting

A harm-reduction approach to policing in relation to drug possession and drug use

Avon and Somerset is an area of rich diversity. Our police force doesn’t currently represent this diversity. I will work to build a police force that is representative of, and values our local communities.

We need a police force people can trust and believe in. I will improve systems for public scrutiny to ensure effective resource and budget allocation reflects the needs of citizens.

We need to focus on the cause of crime, not just the symptoms. I will focus on improving the resources, support and wellbeing of communities in the region.

Our police force must work with communities, for communities. In order to make this a reality, I will build a police force that listens to local people and responds to the issues that mean the most to them.

We face many challenges in today’s society. I will work to make sure our police are ready to respond to these new challenges quickly and effectively.
